Children's Integrated Services- Early Intervention

Gail Dorman-CIS-EI Director

I was born and raised in Rutland but have also lived in the Dominican Republic and Burlington, VT.  I returned to Rutland in 1997 to raise my children.  I have a blended family with 5 children; 3 boys and 2 girls ages 19,17,17,15 and 14.  I don’t have much free time but when I do I like to paint and sculpt.  I have spent the last 7 years working at the Rutland County Parent Child Center educating and advocating for families with children with developmental delays and special needs.

Julie Chadwick- Community Resource Parent

I am a native Vermonter and have lived in the Rutland area for about 23 years.  I have 2 “adult” children who still live with me.  My youngest has cerebral palsy.  Some of my favorite pastimes include gardening, reading (fantasy is my favorite), skiing (downhill) and playing RPG games on my computer.

Jessica Ellis- Early Developmental Educator

I have worked with many agencies around the Rutland area and look foward to working with the familes and staff of RCPCC.  I have a wonderful, loving family and I try to spend as much time as possible with them.  I'm happiest when I see those I care about smiling and laughing.

Lynn Gould

Upon graduating from the College of Saint Joseph I accepted a position teaching in an inclusive EEE classroom. It was a fantastic experience. I have always felt that I learned more from the children and their families than I ever taught them. I moved up to the elementary level and enjoyed having my students over a long period of time. Eventually I decided to return to my first love, Early Childhood Education. So here I am at Childrens Integrated Services. Your babies are now my babies as mine have all grown and flown the nest. It is just me and my husband at home now, throwing wood in the stove and shoveling snow in the winter. Summertime you will find me tending my pigs and garden.
